What if you cannot experience nature unless you have a good recycle score?

Due to environmental concerns, in 2050 the World Government has strict policies in place to control consumption, waste and litter. All citizens must recycle their trash on a daily basis to earn enough points to experience nature through camping, hiking or any other outdoor activity.

All purchases are digitally tied to their purchasers in an effort to track which citizens are fulfilling their obligation to recycle. With the help of manufacturing companies, all products are tagged to track the number of items produced in a year. By tracking all products from purchase to disposal and providing a point system for users, the Recycle Score, the government controls and reduces the amount of environmental waste and incentivizes good behavior.

Based on a yearly evaluation of an individual’s Recycle Score, acceptable participants benefit from unlimited outdoor access and activities. Unacceptable participants receive penalties including behavioral classes, fines, limited shopping and/or reduced participation in outdoor activities until behavior is improved.

By tracking all products from purchase to disposal and providing a point system for users, the Recycle Score, the government controls and reduces the amount of environmental waste and incentivizes good behavior.
